Your Role as an Emergency Services Officer (ESO)
As an Emergency Services Officer (ESO) with R2S Agency, you'll be an integral part of the safety team on large industrial sites, particularly in mining. Your responsibilities include immediate first aid care, fire rescue, security, and sometimes training and WHS. ESOs are crucial in providing immediate medical treatment, basic life support, and ensuring overall site safety. This role is ideal for those who are proactive, self-motivated, and thrive in both autonomous and team environments.
Qualifications and Requirements
Joining Our ESO Team
As an Emergency Services Officer (ESO) with R2S Agency, you'll be an integral part of the safety team on sites, particularly in remote areas. Your responsibilities include immediate first aid care, fire rescue, security, and sometimes training and WHS. ESOs are crucial in providing immediate medical treatment, basic life support, and ensuring overall site safety. This role is ideal for those who are proactive, self-motivated, and thrive in both autonomous and team environments.
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response or Public Safety Fire Fighting Operations
- Certificate III public safety or Mines rescue may be one or the other dependant on client requirements.
- Drug and Alcohol Tester Certification HLTPAT005
- Clients may also request Security license.
- National Police Clearance completed within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain)
- Coalboard Medical
- Standard 11
- HR Driver License (Manual) C Class
- Up-to-Date Immunisations (Tetanus, Hepatitis A&B, Covid-19)
- High level of written and communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
